Today was probably the best of the whole holiday so far. We visited three museums, all with different themes, and remarked yet again how well the Dutch do this sort of thing. 1940-1945 Museum This small but very detailed museum was all about the history of Dordrecht in the Second World War. Staffed by volunteers who all seemed like aged retirees who grew up in the city during the war, one of them took us in tow and gave us a one hour description. He included the role of some of ...
