      we are roasting!! Admiring all the cowboy hats in the hall - the fellow next to me says he paid
      $500 for his!
      A quick ride back to ponoka (40min) and bed!

      Monday - leave about 10am for Edmonton - another beautiful day -
      Lunch with Barbara/\Patrick - a tour of Edmonton followed by a short but lovely walk in a
      ravine near their home.
      Dinner lots of conversation and to dream under a beautiful silk duvet!!

      ... as I found out that the temperature had dropped by about 10 degrees so away went the shorts and out came the fleece. The lifts were even more chaotic with abseilers trying to get to the 26th floor and all the the triathletes taking their bikes down in the lifts to go off to the park to get them racked. There were no formal racing events today but all the athletes were there racking bikes ...

      ... rodeo se sjíždí ti nejlepší borci z Kanady i USA a předvádí kousky, které se jen tak nevidí, tedy určitě ne v Evropě. Zaujala mě disciplína, kdy jezdec na koni lasem uloví tele, skolí je a sváže mu všechny nohy do kozelce. To celé jsou nejlepší kovbojové schopni zvládnout za neuvěřitelně pouhé 4 sekundy!
