Cilom's is a most convenient stay for those flying in or out of Tullamarine Airport, Melbourne. They have a courtesy bus that will pick you up, or take you to the Airport promptly. It is a great service. The rooms are clean and tidy, the beds really comfortable, and the food is very tasty with generous serves.

We woke after only a few hrs sleep feeling on top of the world. It was an amazing day, our wedding day at our own home was very special. We, with the support and help of our family had pulled off the day without a hitch. After the big clean up it was time to head to Melbourne for the night ready for our early flight to Cairns in the morning!

Another early start today, as we prepared for the trip home to Adelaide. I had loved staying at Ciloms Airport Lodge – not for it's luxury, but because I could hear all the planes taking off from the nearby airport! The big ones have an extra exciting rumble!

We didn’t have breakfast, we would have it 'on the road’ …

... down the road has live footie on tv.

Coming from the landing gate to the actual terminal I had to run the gauntlet of those stands trying to sell you wine. Cellar Masters, that sort of thing. I didn't make it through but my time wasn't wasted. By the time I left there were seven empty tasting glasses in front of me.

The wine coupled with the thought of an imminent beer to accompany the footie pushed me to the ...
