... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs. Exchange Ave, TX. They have ...

However, with my upcoming trip to Peru and Bolivia; I can't spin the hands of the clock fast ...

Today we visited the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden which is their version of our Botanical gardens. The plant species surprised me as they included Rhododendrons, Azaleas and a number of deciduous Maples. In spring they have a magnificent display of flowering bulbs including Tulips. The flora is somewhat similar to Canberra. The park itself borders this extensive lake, White Rock ...

Today begins our journey with God to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. We are 5 members of St. Mary's Catholic Center in College Station, TX. Three of us (Troy, Natalie, & Andrea) are recent graduates and two (Amber & Jimmy) just finished up their Junior year at Texas A&M University. We are hiking one of the oldest pilgrimages in the world called "El Camino de Santiago" or "The Way of St. James". Tradition in the Church tells us that the apostle, St. ...
