... filmed for the green dragon town. In a big house we had special "Hobbit beer". On our whole way through Hobbiton we saw maybe 55 Hobbit holes.

On our way to the next hotel we stopped at the Otrahohanga kiwi house where I saw my first kiwi. They are sooooooooo cute. After that we arrived at the hotel. A few hours later we went to a Rotary meeting. It was quiet boring but we saw something spatial. A real Kiwi!!! It was behind a window but in the wilderness.

... and showed a different profession. There are no inside rooms to any of the holes, since all the inside filming took place in Hollywood in a studio. We also learned that Peter Jackson is indeed a kiwi and, along with James Cameron, films a lot in New Zealand. After the amazing tour we went for a complimentary drink at the Green Dragon Inn, which the owners of the farm where the set is built made into a real pub due to popular demand. ... conditions, no wind so completely flat water. Lunch was then on a small boat that picked us up and we had burgers. Upstairs was a good space and we did have a dance with some music and we used a paddle from the kayaks as a limbo which was funny. ... 90 mile beach is also a brilliant place to fish, although in high ride it is also a place where a lot of marine life wash up on the beach, everything from small fish to Whales have been found on this stretch of beach.
