Wednesday we drove north to Everett to visit the Boeing. We took a tour of the 472 million cubic foot plant. Well, not exactly... we saw two sections of it. It's amazing to see how many planes are inside and how the process all comes together. We saw the new 787 Dreamliners being assembled. And we saw the Dream Lifter - a modified aircraft that can ...

Seattle, Washington, United States benandlindsey... a beautiful bouquet of flowers and some "oh my god" peaches. They got that name for good reason, every person that I saw try them said "oh my god, that's the best peach I've ever had." My favorite store / slogan from the entire trip ... Voodoo Doughnuts (in Portland) - the magic is in the hole. This will probably be my last entry. I plan to relax and do absolutely nothing but visit with Ann until I leave on Wed morning. See you soon!

Seattle, Washington, United States sabrinapmHello Wonderful friends and family, Today is the 9th day since baby Kai Kent Borton graced the earth with his presence. He is truly a model of perseverance and strength for all of us. The amount of improvement he has made, and continues to make, is amazing. We are sure that your thoughts and prayers are part of his strength. Keep them coming!! Here are some things to celebrate: Baby Kai continues to remain off the respirator! They continue to watch him closely but so far he is ...
Seattle, United States wildwoman... of the world as hand signal will work. If you tried hand signals in a motor home most people would think you are waving at them. The details are too boring to write about but the time to find and replace the fuse was long and at times frustrating. We were successful and pulled into the Casino at 6:00. Oh well just 2 hours late. Spent the night here in the parking lot,it was cold and as we had limited power by the morning we were happy to get going early, pushing onto Yakima.
Everett, Washington, United States shipling... a very low appetite to eat. I have very little energy to try and exercise. But I must TRY and do both everyday to feed my body and keep my body moving. It is very hard. Mornings are a better part of my day... the energy is a little better. My outlook is better. I try to remind myself to look at beauty in each day. The sun comes up. The birds fly around. The spring bulbs poking thru the soil. I need to remind myself this cancer journey isn't the only ...
Seattle, Washington, United States hoshisan... Mountain is proof that no glaciers existed there because the rocks are not rounded but rugged. At lunchtime we finally made it to the Arctic Circle sign before making it to Coldfoot the most northern truck stop in the world! Headed further north to find the highest tree in the world. We made and took down camp at odd times in the hope of finding wildlife and making the best of the 24 hours daylight! Now officially in mosquito land. Get those fetching ...
Seattle, Washington, United States pinkkazI know there is more to Seattle than the Space Needle. But that was all we could manage with James today. The large crowd had him very nervous! He did a great job holding it together socially, but we know from past experience when he has reached his limit. There really isn't much to the Space Needle. SO here is a few pictures
Seattle, Washington, United States traveltheusa... sweetbeasts to conquer this flight and layover. Great times....minus Ne's horrific gas. (^_^) So, we are ready to get the hell out of this country and begin our vagabonding. First stop Taipei City. Will be sure to update from there with something interesting to report we hope. What can we really write about SeaTac airport? Boring. Expensive. Etc. Aside from our Ivars fish/chip/chowder feast, this place probably has little to offer us. Over and out......
