      ... North into France to Evian. I didn't see anything particularly stunning that makes their water better than anywhere else, but it is a nice town at the foot of the mountains and was worth a visit. Our final day was pretty much a washout, but fortunately our AirBNB guy has a massive TV and so we had a chillout day, catching up on some schooling, playing Monopoly and watching a couple of movies. Next stop, back into France to Champagne. :-)

Chambery has a medieval castle which housed the dukes and counts of Savoy, and it is linked to a chapel which was built to house the Shroud of Turin (lots of money went into housing that shroud!!).
