... airport via the train. So easy and handy. And, as today is hot, hot, hot, I'm appreciating the AC. The weather this summer in Geneva has been amazing and the 35+ temperatures should be good prep for what's to come! Sad to leave home (and Craig). When I get back, summer will be ...

... 8000001907349px; line-height: normal;">Our car transer to Zermatt arrived on time, 1600metres high in the Swiss alps overlooked by the Matterhorn, the highest mountain in Europe. ... ha, but after a few minutes I relaxed and took in the stunning views and executed a perfect landing.
In true style we consumed the local delicacies which included a mouth watering and very filling raclette, and fondue.
One of the following days we went for a day trip west of Annecy and weaved our way around the valleys to Thones, Le Grand Bornand and the ski village of La Clusaz. It was a classic European Alps setting that topped of an amazing long weekend away.
