Late start for our trip . Packed lunch then headed out to the Curtin fig,Lake Barrine and Lake Eacham both the lakes were formed by Volcanic eruptions. Sam, who had joined us on the three previous nights out and Rosie, who was feeling the effects of her first night drinking goon, decided to join us for the trip up north. Our destination was Cape Tribulation, a 90 minute drive away, home to the oldest rainforest in the world. ... was pretty cool.

Caught the Skyrail back down which took 40 minutes, The Skyrail runs from the town of Kuranda down to Caravonica which is about 8 klms north of Cairns. It skirts along the mountain ridges which is sooooo high showing the canopy of the rainforest. The views coming down the Skyrail overlooking Cairns and surrounding districts were wonderful.

Off tomorrow to catch up with Tasha, Rod, Jack and Darci at Cooktown. Can't wait!!!

It is really mindblowing how green it is out here, the cows over this side of the range are really lucky.

Had a look at the "Curtain Fig" and it was really big. To imagine that this started just by one little seed left in the limb of the tree.

... the skyline. Sydney is such a cool and pretty city, we all loved it. Of course every night we got all dolled up for dinner and drinks on the town. And of course 90% of our meals were at an italian restaurant. Probably had pizza for at least half of our meals. So good.

Then we headed to the blue mountains.... These mountains are absolutely stunning, with the formation of "the three sisters" and all of australians wildlife. However, because its ...
