Yesterday we flew from Sydney to Cairns, I have posted a few more photos of Sydney as we went for a walk in the morning before our flight. Today we went on an awesome tour to Cape Tribulation and our driver/Tour guide Peter was awesome, very knowledgable and very funny. Tomorrow we are going to the Great Barrier Reef to snorkel and I will be diving for the first time, I will let you know how I make ...

Rosie In Cairns

... from her trip we ate, went for a wander and to get claire and underwater camera for her trip tomorrow then headed to bed.. All in all an amazing day. (On telling good ole Mum of my plight a week after its occurence, she kindly reminded me ...

Yesterday we did not do too much. It was packing up day and at the rate Ray is moving these days we needed all day to pack up. We just did it slowly and this morning we headed off. We are now at Fishery Falls Caravan Park just a half hour drive south of Cairns. It is really lovely here and we are now all set up for a stay of one week. The manager took us of a tour around the caravan park on her golf cart as Ray was not up to walking too far. ...

Fun in the sun...

Today was a lovely sunny day for all our various adventures. We started with the Skyrail cable ride over the rainforest canopy to Kuranda. We stopped to visit lookouts at Barron falls and while there wasn't much water it was still very spectacular. Onto the village of Kuranda which was cute enough but too touristy. Apparently half the markets have gone or have been taken over by hippies so apart from strolling around the shops there wasn't much to do. Having said that we did stop ...
