Another foggy cloudy day . Started our day doing the washing stripping the bed as Al said we have flees he has bite all over his body but I didn't feel anything then did some haircuts. ... just called it a night and went to sleep. The next day was the start of our road trip. Sam, who had joined us on the three previous nights out and Rosie, who was feeling the effects of her first night drinking goon, decided to join us for the trip up north. Our destination was Cape Tribulation, a 90 minute drive away, home to the oldest rainforest in the world. Caught the Skyrail back down which took 40 minutes, The Skyrail runs from the town of Kuranda down to Caravonica which is about 8 klms north of Cairns. It skirts along the mountain ridges which is sooooo high showing the canopy of the rainforest. The views coming down the Skyrail overlooking Cairns and surrounding districts were wonderful.
Off tomorrow to catch up with Tasha, Rod, Jack and Darci at Cooktown. Can't wait!!!

It is really mindblowing how green it is out here, the cows over this side of the range are really lucky.
Had a look at the "Curtain Fig" and it was really big. To imagine that this started just by one little seed left in the limb of the tree.
