In the late afternoon we drove to Bellevue on the eastern side of Lake Washington. We visited the Bellevue Botanical Garden. The drive back to Seattle at sunset was amazing. We had dinner in Seattle at Von's, fantastic food!

... is. Here is what happened. First off, I've gotta say that I've never seen such volumous amount of carry-on luggage as the two flights to and from India. I don't know what it is, but it's like every single Indian person was traveling with one of those gigantic carry-on bags, and they would have a second bag almost as large to count as their "purse or laptop" it was so absurd it was downright stupid. I really wish they would enforce the carry-on restrictions ...

... 5 minutes when you hear the announcement that you're beginning your initial descent into Chicago. I didn't arrive until 11:30 last night so I spent the night near the airport. Today, I'm going to get my rental car and begin my journey to Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helen's and Portland. If you have any restaurant recommendations, please send them my way. Have a great day!

So in Everett we went on a tour that showed us how they make airplanes and stuff. It is the largest building in the world in volume. There are 29 thousand workers that work there. Our tour guide was very nice. She knew all the history about airplanes but didn't know know much about the airplanes themselves. We went in there tunnel and we went into a freight elevator. My sister didn't really like it to much.

Long layover in MN (thank heavens for the passport snafu, since it killed a good hour of time and makes a terrif story!) and then a flight to Seattle that I don't remember, since I was zonked out the entire time.
