DAY 6 - Abtioch, TN
... a bit while driving (see photo). “Abe” is still turning in better than advertised MPG’s. Gas is still $3.36. We are having great luck with these Super 8 Motels. The franchiser seems to be cracking down on them. Each one is very similiar - well equipped and maintained. Even the snacks for the breakfast are the same - down to the same sweet rolls each place. Our American true begins...
... that this was by far the best one of the lot. Yesterday, we ventured down south, to start our time in Virginia. On our way, we stopped off at the Arlington Cemetery, where people who have died in the wars are buried, as well as JFK and his family. There are so many headstones there, apparently there is a six year waiting list for people to get buried there at the minute. ... house was so cool! Especially because they are artists and musicians and display some of their own work. Aaron's roommates Mike and Kent cooked an amazing pasta dinner and shared it with all of us, Rauno included. We spent a bit more time talking and getting to know them while they set up their instruments for a jam session. We were impressed by how good they were and what a cool sound they had.

... downtown Nashville and walked Broadway Street... which was AMAZING! There were so many shops and boot stores everywhere we looked.
