    ... The cloud cover was really styling; it looked like rows of cotton puffs (I wanted to roll in it - I'm blaming the drugs). I perked up near the end of the flight and had to suppress the urge to yell, 'I see the CN Tower'. That's a throwback from my childhood when we would all look for the water tower on our way home!     ... princess in me was on high alert due to Simon not being with me and traveling on my own, maybe I was fair in my decision - I tend to think so. I checked in and checked out, walked up the street and stayed at Aloft. Aloft cost a little more and breakfast was not included, but it was fresh, happy, vibrant and had a professional air to it. Not to mention I felt safer there. Yes I am a princess, I like to feel comfortable.
