So, after a brief browse through the book of Mormon (in the bedside drawer along with the Bible!) it was off for breakfast. From here on it changed from desert badlands to twisting mountain roads with chain up areas for winter snow. It's hard to imagine that you'd get snow out here, but some points are nearly 5000 feet up. At one of the highest points we crossed Stinking Water Pass and then Stinking Water Creek, then a bit futher on was Drinking Water Pass. After our mid morning breakfast, we all reunited and went to Costco for some food essentials and then picked up another friend that flew in this afternoon. We then got a mini driving tour of Boise and got to see what my friends called "the farming area" where all the cattle are located in the city ...
... me off. As I waited for my bus, funnily enough it was delayed (Greyhound), I was looking at a map on the wall of North America and the Greyhound routes. I love looking at maps anyway, but interested to see where the buses go, when I get a tap on my shoulder and Kitty had brought me breakfast! I mean how wonderful is that? It was a white chocolate Mocha from Java, that she kept telling me about, and some pastries! I was shocked, surprised and so very ...
... It even had a pedestrian bridge you could walk across and catch a cool view. Seems bandits used to use if for a hide out when they robbed the wagon trains etc etc.... and the park was full of bunny rabbits....the cute kind. The ones that are not too big and cute. Not like the big ole jack rabbits running around our neighborhood..
Also nice thing about interstates not much thought required so can think a lot......moved the marble around me head for ...
