Best Western Cairn Croft Hotel Niagara Falls

The hotel's pool was nice, and the staff was relatively friendly, but the restaurant was gross and not good for kids.

We loved the hotel, while not walking distance from the falls, it was clean, well maintained and freindly with children. The pool was large and warm. The atrium made it nice as well. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I would not recommend the pancakes in the restaurant for breakfast, the french toast was good though. The pancakes were dry and tased like "toaster" variety. It's the only meal we ate at the hotel.

It is close to many family friendly restaurants. We had a great time.

Chose to stay at this hotel based on previous user reviews. Stayed in the "annex". I would not recommend to anyone, as I would not stay there again myself. Room was clean, but dated, and there was a mildew smell. "Annex" was in very bad shape on exterior. Front desk staff was pleasant but not very focused. Tropical atrium was great. Kids loved it and it was well maintained. Pool was warm, playground and game area was nice. Biggest complaint was by staying in the "Annex" I felt like I was camping out in the parking lot! The entire hotel, although clean, had a "dingy" aura to it. Rate was great, but compared to hotels closer to the falls, it was not an enormous savings. When I go back to the falls area, I will definitely stay in a hotel closer to all the activity. Although the Cairn Croft was only about 8-10 minutes away, it would have been great to be within walking distance of all the attractions since parking in the area is difficult & expensive!

My wife and my two young boys were looking foward for a two night stay but, was refused a room on the sole policy we didn't have a credit card. The desk clerk was snooty in telling us the major hotels in niagra falls require one. Embare sed we left to the next major hotel right beside the best western. They welcomed us with open arms. As for the worst western our family will not recommend this hotel. We had plenty for a cash for a deposit, so we feel we were discriminated. The Super 8 was the best!

We stayed in this hotel in early May and it was fabulous. The staff is friendly, curteous and helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious and well appointed. The courtyard area is beautiful. The pool and hot tubs are great at the end of a long day exploring. This hotel is close to banks, fast food outlets and shopping areas. There is also plenty of parking onsite. The only negative about this hotel is the food in the restaurant. We only had breakfast there, but the eggs were runny and not that great. Also, when we checked in, they told us about how economically priced their restaurant is....You may want to consider this before paying for a package that includes food!

It's always a pleasure to visit the Cairn Croft Hotel. Love the courtyard and the staff is great. Very reasonable prices. We have been many times and can't wait to go back. Give them a try - you will not be disappointed.

I only wish the family could spend more time at the hotel. Relaxing by the pool and hot tubs, kids playing in the indoor playground. A clean hotel, decent rates, we'll be going back.

This hotel is only a couple miles from Niagara Falls on Lundy's Lane. It is easy to find. The service was spectacular. The people who work there are polite and extremely helpful with just about anything you want to know about the area. There are plenty of places to eat at, it is next to a Mc Donalds, Pizza Hut, and Wendy's not to mention more further up and down the road. Also, there is a grocery store, a drug store and a dollar store on the other side of the hotel. Best of the price is great! We would definately stay here again.

Looked on this site, found the previous review, called them. Booked at a great price (Cnd $$ ) and had a wonderful time. Kids loved it, wife loved it . I won some money at the Casino. What's not to like!!!

What a great place, totaly beyond our expectations for a Best Western hotel. Really nice pool in a garden atrium area, hot tubs, a big play area for the kids. Food prices were very reasonable and good portions. We plan to go back this winter just to hang out by the pool - all enclosed and a tropical atmosphere. I would highly recommend.
