... frazzeled nerves but othewise safely.

Taylorsville State Park is lovely. The park is very quiet and peaceful. There is not much to do there other than walk trails but the park itself is very pretty. They have 30amp service and water but no sewers. The lots are nicely spaced and it was not crowded. The bathrooms were immaculate and the staff was very friendly and courteous.

We stayed until Tuesday and next stop is Bowling Green, KY.

Louisville, Kentucky, United States lauren.warnecke... s. He built an actual hotel in 1835 that was visited and praised by Charles Dickens, Jefferson Davis and 3 presidents. According to my informational magazine in the hotel (the one I'm reading in the photo...) army guys Sherman and Grant plotted a battle together in the hotel. That hotel burned to the ground and was replaced in 1869, only to be torn down in 1921. Al J ...

Louisville, Kentucky, United States breezyfresh... what these may lack in height, the make up for in depth. The valleys and gorges that lie in between the mountains are deep, providing a magnificent contrast in colors and textures. Trees cover the sides of the mountains in a patchwork quilt of greens. Then, in the valleys between, there are rivers or small farms or just another layout of greens. Every time we curved around a mountain we were treated to another postcard view of beauty.
<br ...

Louisville, Kentucky, United States breezyfreshAfter just two days in St Louis we suddenly decided to leave. Next was Louisville. Mostly because it's in kentucky and who doesn't want to go to Kentucky. We wanted to and we did. Lonely planet together with the almighty GPS took us to a decent vietnamese restaurant, and that's about how good it got in Louisville. The motel was pricey, but I'm sure their total budget for ...
