I realize, of course, that I haven't exactly made it easy for myself, but things just started to add up and expand in the interest of making the most of the opportunity and taking the plunge of transatlantic flight.

... Cypress Glen and Silver Lake. Definately like the unspoilt charm of Crooked River best. Also checked out the boat ramp for a planned kayak tomorrow. Silver Lake was absolutely calm and quite beautiful this afternoon. On the way back to our site we encountered a couple of Black bears on the track. ... Drove to McAlisters and had lunch. Bob felt as though we had seen and done everything we wanted to see and do . He proposed that we go back to our cottage, pack up, clean up and get on the road so that we would be home a day ahead of schedule , this took some mental adjustment on my part. We left Miramar Beach at 3:45 Central Time and arrived home at 10:35 PM. Not an easy drive on a Friday, in the dark ...
