After a really fabulous Christmas and recharge of our batteries at Coffs Harbour, we jumped in our little car, purchased lots of snacks, loaded Harry Potter onto the stereo, and set off on our 8 hour drive to Sydney Airport. You dont seem to be able to get anywhere too fast by road. The limits are about 110kph, and everyone seems to strictly follow …

... from the station and we headed back to her house and then headed out to her seeing class so I sat and ate dinner with her parents, which was yummy as it was a real meal for once!! I went upstairs to chill by myself for a bit and was going to have a shower until I realised her mum was watching a programme I liked so I sat with her to watch it together. Chris came home and we both had showers and then jumped into bed as we have to get up really early for my train tomorrow ...

Hello

After a nice night out on Wednesday with Ewan, Wendy and Ida we left the Gold Coast last Thursday and drove to Goondiwindi. We found a great caravan park there that had a cuppa and damper around the campfire at 4.30 (just when we arrived). It was a nice way to unwind and meet a few people after a long day. We also cooked a camp oven on the fire so that was another bonus that we hadn't expected. They had a hot artesian pool ...

I have recently been apartment hunting on the net. There are plenty of house sharing websites ect. So the search begins. Term break is almost here so I will have some time to check the places out. I am also planning some day trips over the term break so stay tuned!!

Ondertussen ben ik al weer bezig aan mijn tweede week bij Tesselaar Tulips. Het wordt in september erg spannend of het jaarlijks tulpfestival door kan gaan. Ik heb een bijdrage geleverd door tulpenbollen te planten. Denk dat ik heel de maand september maar undercover ga. Wat doe ik verder nog bij Tesselaar, voornamelijk planten knippen en mensen met de tractor overrijden. Jaja heb tractor gereden het was een keer en wacht ...
