... the leftovers made a satisfying lunch for two the next day.
We left shortly after 8:00 the next day - the hotel was quiet over night. The breakfast bar didn't appeal but we had yogurt and fruit with us, so had that in a pleasant picnic area off the parking lot. It's not a place for a long stay but was just right for what we needed.
So a 90 miler after a restful rest day.
Was overcast in the morning and left St Joseph with a lovely sunrising. Perfect temperature and no wind. Cloud cover lasted. Lots of rolling hills which I quite enjoyed. Rode with Kettie and Barry and then we joined the big boys for a little (Jeremy, Rene and Doug) so upped the pace for a bit.

Had drinks at Applebee's when we arrived in Chillicothe - a pretty good chain restaurant over ...
I'm starting to think that these hills and wind are never going to go away. I had my school meeting with my teacher this morning and we got started riding at about 11:30 which is a little late. When I started this morning the wind was not very bad but as hours passed it was getting worse. I wanted to get to Moberly but that got more and more difficult as the day went on. About half way through the day my dad ran into a guy when he pulled the RV to ...
