Cloudless blue sky this morning and supposed to be unusually warm today and through the weekend.

8:00 AM - Headed southwest on 395. Surprised by this part of Washington. It is tree-less farm land. Some slight hills, very arid.

9:30 AM - Onto Route 14W and followed the Columbia River, on the Washington side. Tons of windmills on both sides of the river. Hills increased in size but terrain remains quite barren, brown, ...

As we passed through the Davenport region, wheat fields stretched as far as the eye could see, some yet to be harvested and some simply stubble and where the stubble had been removed willy nillies danced across the dirt and rose ...

Long day today, got an early start heading in to Glacier, very beautiful, long uphill winding road, I comment "look up we are going to drive through the clouds" how exciting is that? Not very! Driving thru clouds where you can see two feet in front of you on a very narrow winding road, 8,000 foot drop on one side with no guard rails and very ...

... So for now we just had to start heading East, towards home :(. But this is a good thing, as we got news today that we finally closed on the house deal! We are now proud homeowners, and get to pull right into our own driveway from our trip! It almost makes you want to drive strait home, but there really is still too much ...
