Made my way back to Willmar and for the first time on this trip, I went shopping at a mall. I hadn’t brought enough socks, so I stocked up on those and a few other things and was on my way again by about noon. It was a perfect day for driving and the countryside is quite green through Minnesota. Lots of hardwood trees ...

Got back home yesterday. I can't even begin to tell what a great adventure it has been. The Mouse performed without missing a beat and everybody got along as we should. We'd like to thank all the people who encouraged us along the way. At every stop we made the interest in what we were doing was astounding. Conrad and i had a bit of a giggle once we went to bed as the beds were rather short and the poor guy had his head and feet touching the bed posts!!

The museum is located near the Aerial Lift Bridge (see video) which overlooks the entrance to the Duluth-Superior harbor.

... that runs along the edge of Lake Superior. The food at Grandma's we found to be very good. I also think that we both felt kind of accomplished as we got necessary, ordinary life things done. Like, the laundry, the shopping, and the oil change. The timing was great as far as the weather was concerned, too. We got back to the hotel to do the laundry and rest, just as the rain started to pour. ...
