      ... we made it to the cabin and showed everyone but made him a bed of grass and leaves and gave him a dish of water for the night. Thankfully the turtle seemed unharmed and moving happily the next morning when he was actually let go!

      The cabin near Lake Superior (just beyond Tofte for those that want to know) is beautiful. Within a stones throw of the lake itself and lots of beds for the 20 odd family who are here with us. It reminds me a bit of a ski lodge, all open two stories ...

      ... that runs along the edge of Lake Superior. The food at Grandma's we found to be very good. I also think that we both felt kind of accomplished as we got necessary, ordinary life things done. Like, the laundry, the shopping, and the oil change.
