... We almost completed the entire house's siding but had to wrap up in time to get over to the YMCA and start getting ready for dinner. The nice people at the Y let me get in a nice 2 mile jog on the treadmill (something I have yet to do on this trip and man it showed!) and now to shower at the church before another host-provided meal potluck style :) That's a wrap! 9 straight bike days start tomorrow! Special shout out to Anthony--Happy 23rd ...

... hammering, fitting, sawing. I did a lot of sawing. We put up plywood for the walls and I sawed out the windows and doors. It's been so interesting watching and participating in how these homes are built. When I have my own home, way in the future, should I decided to build it, I think I'd like to be involved in it's development. Certainly when I get back to Atlanta I'll become involved with my local Habitat affiliate. Showers at the Y. Nap on the bus ride home (see pic). Watch ...

I painted with about 9 other people but was mostly with Hannah and Carlee and Jacob. And Annie and Breezer. And Mary, too. It was a pretty good day. There was some weird stuff that happened, but all in ...

... me through a steady day of painting, painting, and more painting. We all were given assigned tasks-some did framing, some siding, and some painted with me. We all tackled the interior of the house, which had originally been painted orange, blue and white. The whole house needed to be repainted. After a few hours of painting, we ...

... am more of the rambler type, so I'll keep to our ride yesterday. We were rained out for majority of the morning of our ride from Grove to Bartlesville OK, but were allowed to ride 40mi of the 75mi day. Breezer, myself, and other friend Taylor and I wanted to make a workout of it given short mileage, so Breezer taught us how to pace line. We really kicked it up a notch - instead of a more routine pace of 15-20mph, we were anywhere ...
