... We almost completed the entire house's siding but had to wrap up in time to get over to the YMCA and start getting ready for dinner. The nice people at the Y let me get in a nice 2 mile jog on the treadmill (something I have yet to do on this trip and man it showed!) and now to shower at the church before another host-provided meal potluck style :) That's a wrap! 9 straight bike days start tomorrow! Special shout out to Anthony--Happy 23rd ...

Certainly when I get back to Atlanta I'll become involved with my local Habitat affiliate. Showers at the Y. Nap on the bus ride home (see pic). Watch ...

I painted with about 9 other people but was mostly with Hannah and Carlee and Jacob. And Annie and Breezer. And Mary, too. It was a pretty good day. There was some weird stuff that happened, but all in ...

... severe thunderstorms all morning, Annie, Taylor, and I were all pretty anxious to get on our bikes. Since we had such a late start, we were going to be limited to only finishing the first 40 miles of our ride before we were to get shuttled to the host site. To the three of us, although this was disappointing, it also meant that we were going to go hard for the time we did have on the bikes. We maintained a consistent pace and rotated ...

... felt I had a tour guide with me walking the bridge.

  • I realised the experience kicks in when you have walked back and into the gift shop and you buy your souvenir postcard. You then feel like a proper tourist! So i forgot to mention i like to collect souvenirs, they remind me of all the good things that have happened in my life. They make me the person i am today and each of them have a story to them.

  • The day after i found Fishermans Wharf. I didnt ...
