The view from the crown isn't that great because the windows are quite small, but it is worth doing to see the inside structure of the statue and to just be able to say that you've done it. Because of her knee Daisy went down backwards like climbing down a ladder ...
... which meant you couldn't walk up around the concourses and this would be part of its appeal. We did however see the static displays of real art - i'm sure we would have enjoyed a display more. No photos allowed, except for in the lobby, which hopefully will show the concourses.
... the disused railway now a park offers great views as well as wonderful innovative use of space. The plant life is very green and calming. Greenwich Village is a rabbit warren of streets as the well set out grid of streets and avenues begins after 14 street ( some innovation of a engineer/ mayor in 1865).
