      A recommander.

... A perfect ending to the evening. After walking through a bustling time square where we saw multiple Spiderman’s, a few Elmo’s, the singing cowgirl and a few conspiracy theorists chanting their messages we decided we had walked enough for the day and it was time to head back home to our Westy. We grabbed the bus and happily slunk into bed in our Westy. We took 30,000 awesome steps of exploration and we didn’t even see everything. Looking forward to another day of exploring. ...

... Because we were early, we actually walked up with no-one obviously in front or behind us so we could take our time. There are some platforms as you go up where you can rest as well. The view from the crown isn't that great because the windows are quite small, but it is worth doing to see the inside structure of the statue and to just be able to say that you've done it. Because of her knee Daisy went down backwards like climbing down a ladder ...

... which meant you couldn't walk up around the concourses and this would be part of its appeal. We did however see the static displays of real art - i'm sure we would have enjoyed a display more. No photos allowed, except for in the lobby, which hopefully will show the concourses.

... the disused railway now a park offers great views as well as wonderful innovative use of space. The plant life is very green and calming. Greenwich Village is a rabbit warren of streets as the well set out grid of streets and avenues begins after 14 street ( some innovation of a engineer/ mayor in 1865). This area was /is the bohemian area ... Writers, actors, theatre and musicians began careers in this area. Washington ...
