    ...nothing better than being with good friends at a beautiful home at the start of a busy trip...flights from HNL to NYC were uneventful, but long...hate the "red eye" flight, never been able to sleep on a plane...watched the Hobbit ;) .... Glad I made us salads .... Delta Sky ...

It was served in the same old aluminum containers and the food wasn't particularly appetizing, but it was better than the regular plane food back at home.     We really enjoyed seeing friends and family, and the whirlwind of activity that surrounds the holidays. It was great to be back, eat some American foods, catch up on American culture and take it all in.
