    ...nothing better than being with good friends at a beautiful home at the start of a busy trip...flights from HNL to NYC were uneventful, but long...hate the "red eye" flight, never been able to sleep on a plane...watched the Hobbit ;) .... Glad I made us salads .... Delta Sky ...

It was served in the same old aluminum containers and the food wasn't particularly appetizing, but it was better than the regular plane food back at home.     ... I had measured my van before I left and it was about 9 feet tall at its highest point. The bridges were beautiful stone workings. Signs said, no large trucks. Could I be in the same category of large trucks? The bridges were marked. The first few I had plenty of space. 11 ft 4 inches, 12 ft 1 inch. Then there were a few that were 10 feet and then one that was 9 ft 2 inches. I about ******* myself when I went through that one. I held my breath and slowed down....I made it! No problem. ...

    ... at home. As we waited for Adrienne, Molly, Meredith and Mrs. Carr to arrive we got a tour of the beautiful home filled with pictures of Meredith, horses and doggies that look like Sophie! As we would be reminded for the rest of our stay at her home, Mr. Carr told us where to get drinks, food, etc. and insisted we should help ourselves to anything and everything.     ... across. Seven bars in total, each one a complete dive. Was surprisingly a pleasant way to spend the evening, even if I was alone.

    The next weekend consisted of another night in Chicago, followed by a day/night at Randy and Pam's again for Liam's 1st birthday party. The next week was in Schaumburg, where I finally got to meet my manager, Leon, and spent some time in some deep dive sessions that were quite interesting.
