... managed to arrange towels hanging in such a way they diverted the rain past the bed, onto the floor of the car.Now we had large cold, wet patches either side of the bed but there wasn't much we could do about it, so we slept in the dry 3 foot of bed! Cosy.

Tomorrow night we're going to Ruse in Bulgaria, and all staying in hotels as there's little or no camping, so we can dry out.

23rd June. 190 miles approximately to do.

We were so happy to hear that Corinne and Kent have a new baby girl, Ruby, born Apr 27, 6 lb 12 oz, she has dark hair and her Grandpa says she is content.

Of course, as vegetarians, we are not good critics of the traditional food of almost any country. Somethings we noticed anyway.
What stroke us here is the big amount of different salads that are offered. On the menu of most restaurants are 10-20 different salads. Louise liked Kuopooly very much, a paste of eggplant, roasted nuts with other vegetables.The national cheese is called Sinere. It is a young, white cheese, somewhat similar to feta, but saltier.
