This is a constant work in progress. They go thru ,sand and clean and stain, but by the time they

finish , its time to start at the beginning again .

They put on a very cute dance with the Thai traditional dancers . The grace and style so

smooth flowing. Their hands twisting to tell stories.

and a sword fight , that we got quite a laugh at.

... again I felt I did not have enough time here, I could have done without so much time on the canals to have more time here.

From here we rushed off to check into our hotel for our overnight stay at the Sheraton, a beautiful location right on the river and a terrific view. Every couple of minutes a old European man walks past holding hands with a much younger thai girl. This has to be the sleaziest place in the world. It's ten ...

... for entering Vietnam and holy **** there was! Applied online to get a letter of approval to enter the country. Got it just in time! Still raining so decided to relax and watch more of the TV series I was into. What a great way to spend some time when it's rainy out.

Took it easy the last couple days before heading to Vietnam and did a bit of research during the evenings so I knew what to expect when arriving and while there. Next stop: Ho Chi Minh City!

          Day 5 - Planting Mangroves & Travel

A travel blog entry by bianca_notley on Jan 17, 2013

... came up and wanted a photo with me which was pretty funny. I probably planted between 16-20 mangroves and then we were done. The mangroves we were planting were 1 yr old saplings. They will bear fruit when they are five years old which the Dusky langurs can eat. We went and washed off and on our way back to the bungalow we got to see the Dusky Langurs at the project. We packed all our stuff and drove back to Pattaya (5hr drive) we had lunch ...
