... us to Ogunquit, a beautiful sommer resort which means "beautiful place by the sea" in the indigenous Abenaki language.

Erica was a such a great host! The beginning of our trip could not have been any better. We had lots of fun with her and Jennifer, we got to meet some of her dearest friends and family, she gave us the best Harvard tour ever :P and showed us that America is definitely more than shopping malls and hamburgers :)

Perfectly full, our next stop was the Boston Duck Tour. It sounded touristy and cheesy but multiple people and tripadvisor had suggested it so we decided to go for it--plus it would keep us off our feet for a bit. Caught the T to Prudential Stn--we caught the 1:30 tour. The unfortunate thing was, the duck had already started boarding and we weren't able to sit together ...

... but the climbing was pretty spectacular. We shot up to Gloucester to practice placing gear at Stage Fort Park, and good ol' toproping at Red Rocks. Also noteworthy: we saw a garter snake and a squirrel! Not together.

At only 30' tall, Oz was a pretty fun climb, and one I heard of from a fellow climber while shopping for 'biners at EMS. With route names of Emerald City, the Yellow Brick Road, Tin Man, Munchkin, and Ruby Slippers, you can't really ask for more. More than that, ...
