The hotel staff did their best to accommodate us on short notice. They got our rooms ready sooner than anticipated, offered us laudromat service and went out of their way to make our short stay with them a memorable one.

We weren't supposed to get to this part until Friday, but knowing that things were starting to fill up in advance of the 4th of July Holiday, and wanting to be sure we would get a full hookup site (which we did!) with 50 amps (yes!), we ...

We also experienced a wide range of temperatures...70's in Minneapolis...101 degrees in Phoenix...and 50's in Seattle. Flying is not something I enjoy and the flights seemed to take forever. Having good "seat neighbors" on each leg of our flight did make the time go by ...

... the world for dinner up the road at another Halloween styled restaurant for comfort food before passing out very early that night.

We rose early to walk to the International Rose Test Gardens and spent an hour or so walking around enjoying the names and smells of the roses growing there. There were a fair few, but it was clear that we just caught the end of the season; I can't imagine how beautiful it would be in its peak. While walking back to the bus ...
