We woke up this morning to an eerie fog drowning the whole area. Beckett slept alright, better than the night before but still not great. We got up and packed a bag for the day not really sure what to expect and then headed to breakfast in a small outbuilding next door. More typical Romanian breakfast fare-- meats, cheese, bread and savoury spreads but they made us fresh scrambled eggs when we arrived. The homemade granola was also fantastic according to Ben (I will have to try ...

... some questionable bridges and passing through countless small towns, we arrived at the "castle". It is really better described as a fortified working manor or estate. You drive through a large gate and on to the property. There are quite a few small buildings and the main house. For a lot of the other students on the trip they thought this ...

    Baggages - Lot of them

A travel blog entry by csaladenes on Feb 19, 2010

So it was a rainy Friday evening when I teamed up with my girlfriend and one of my friends at our home city's good ol' railway station. We were pretty loaded with luggage as we had on us not just one week's clothing but the skiing outfit and the equipment as well. Moreover, on the way back we were scheduled to hop off at university-city Cluj, which, as well, boasted the amount of luggage.
