Not a bad day to stay firmly tied to the shore, this, given the date! We'd slept very well and enjoyed the brand new showers in the swimming pool building. Again, they’d provided washing machines, cookers, fridges etc, all virtually unused. Moreover, so far it was all free, as there had been no sign of the harbourmaster, we would try and contact him again later in the day.

Once inside the wide bay, ...

... a couple of hours it was so hot so we decided it was time for a swim. I was so keen as it had been nearly a year since we had last had a proper swim in fresh water. The lake was freezing except for the top half metre so I pretty much had to throw the boys in haha. After our swim we headed out to taste some of the local delights for lunch. The schotskin! It is Sabenna's family business, similar to a fish and chip shop except selling burgers and sweedish fast foods. It was so good. ...

... but when we checked the time it was after 9am, this was generally the routine while we were there Glen and I would sleep until around 9.30am and everyone else would wait for us for breakfast. It wouldn't get light until around 10am most days and then it was dark again by 2.30pm!
