... met up for a two week journey of learning about the Sufi tradition. We also ate extremely well, joked around just about the right amount, participated fully in Isawwa (more about that later), shopped a BIT more than I would have liked :), and just bonded as a group of journeyers.

Wx - Overcast (Min: 2C, Max: 12C) Despite the continued overcast weather, we decided to catch the ferry to Bainbridge Island. Juneau and Skagway, plus information on how the Bering Strait was named etc. Later in the day I went to a seminar on Walking with out pain, it was a good seminar and as a result I purchased some inserts for my shoes. I wore them immediately and within a few hours my pain was reduced considerably. I transferred them into my new shoes and felt great all night.....well worth the $189 US. After leaving Vancouver and reentering the United States, we headed south and decided to stop in Bellingham, WA for lunch. We had read about a famous fish and chips place, so we drove to the historic Fairhaven area of Bellingham to get some seafood at Fairhaven Fish and Chips. The restaurant is run out of an old, converted bus, and they serve the food through the back window for customers to enjoy on their deck of picnic tables. ...
