    ... and there were some magicians there doing some ammmmmazing magic tricks. I love Magic so I was hooked! There was a band playing and it was open mic night, my god the people that got up to sing were incredible, we felt like we were at a free concert. LA's undiscovered music talent was our gain!

    Many margaritas later around 1am we decided we should probably head home as we couldn't bear the thought of another horrid hangover.

    ... awake, showered and dressed we headed out to find somewhere for breakfast. Just past the pizza place we found a little cafe so that's where we had breakfast, it wasn't fantastic but wasn't awful either and was very cheap. Back at the motel I rang Heather and Tim and they had just woken up and were heading out for breakfast so they said they'd ring us when they got back. I spent the time packing up all our stuff as tonight we fly home!

    ... a headache from laughing so much, his monologue was gold, the guests were really good, they were Kevin Kline and some chick I didn't know who I've forgotten but was in 21 jump street the movie and musical guest King... Something? He was a young red head who sang a funky brand of blues, the music was killer but his voice wasn't.     Back to the hotel for more pool time (for me, e-reader time), while Mal and Dad made the trek down to Target for batteries for rc cars.

    ... Luna Park). We drove on to Bird Rock which was a great spot the waves were huge with massive rock and cove areas to muck around amongst. A bit further down is La Jolla which is known for its beautiful sunsets over the rocks. La Jolla was gorgeous the water is really nice and the views ares spectacular.
