      Left home early at 7:20am for the hour long drive to Disneyland and another taste of mad freeway driving, even though it was early there was still a fair bit traffic but still managed to get to Disneyland at 8:20 into the massive multi-level car park called Mickey and Friends. Each level is named after a Disney character (6 levels) and you are encouraged to write down which row and area you are in on your parking receipt. You're then transported by shuttle ...

      ... a neighbourhood can change from bum town to the most expensive part of town in an instant. American drivers are insane, no one sticks to speed limits, uses indicators, or cars about making a right hand turn from the left hand lane. There's lots of construction going on everywhere,but it seems to be about patching efforts. Not a lot of new construction.

      ... buy food for breakfast and salads for dinner to eat in our hotel room. We had a coffee maker and fridge in the room.
