By Mette Så er vi på farten igen. Men denne gang har vi taget vores hus med os! Vi har nemlig lejet en campervan på størrelse med en mindre to-værelses lejlighed. Der er førerhus, dobbeltseng over førerhuset, køkkenafdeling med siddeplads til 4 og seng til 2, et toilet og bad, og så også lige en stueafdeling med siddeplads til 6 og endnu en soveplads til 2. SWAN HILL 10/4/09 - 14/4/09 Packed up on Good Friday to head to Swan Hill. Fortunately the roads were very quiet so we had a good trip along the Murray Valley Highway. Had a lunch stop at a little place called "Wood Wood" - a really pleasant spot on the banks of the Murray. The caravan park was extremely busy, of course, because of the Easter holidays, but it was right on the river and adjacent to a beautiful, shady park also on the river ...

We were told of the "Steve Irwin" look-alike, so we decided to head inland for a couple of days to spend some time with the Daltons. Nisele,Wynita and childrin, live on a farm in Victoria. We fished for Murrey Cod in the Great Murrey River, hunted roos ("professionally") played on the sandbar in the river, caught "yabbies , and had an awesome time with our new friends. 

... the way the other states have done it the public get beautiful sporting facilities!! So its a lot quieter here now, good meals, Elle can have a thrill and waste $20, they have a huge empty car park and the manager says he cant see anything parked there " I see nuffing" !!! Sounds good !!!!!

...and we're off!!!  Had a bit of a false start as we discovered 2km down the road that the new bike rack was moving around a bit and we'd have to swap it for the older one. However our decision to return home proved to be a mistimed one as we had to sit in the middle of Yarra Street waiting to get up to the church carpark but hindered by the steady surge of funeral cars coming out ...

Today had to be washing day - no more clean undies left. But over night I could hear the rain. Still, it had to be done, and I put it in the machine before we went to the free Pan Cake breakfast put on by the caravan park. We were able to chat to other folk in the park as well as to the owners, whilst we enjoyed our pancakes and tea/coffee. So, the washing had to go into the dryer, as it was still raining, with the low clouds an indication that it was set ...

... beside. Clynton - you would have disowned me, as I stuffed up reversing into the site. Somehow misjudged when to start following the van into the site, and ended up across the site. Once stuffed up, it is difficult to recover, and finally, I was able to line it up and backing straight in - even that was not easy because the "lines and angles" were all strange ...
