... We didn’t stay very long as the queues to get food and drinks were ridiculous and the music was so loud you could hardly hear someone right next to you. Maybe we’re getting old… although Matt said many people mentioned it at work the next week, phew!

On the 16th I met Matt at Kin Shop for a delicious birthday dinner. It can be a struggle to find good Asian food in NY but Matt’s friend Alessandro has recommended a few great places! ...

The end of our journey is in sight!! We stayed near Detroit on Tuesday night and crossed back into Canada at Sarnia and headed down to Point Pelee - Canada's most southern point before going to Shiela and Rob's last night. Although it is our country's most southerly point, the weather was cold and windy!! Today we are on our way to St Catharines for a quick visit with Grandma ...

... maybe an hour sleep and I got maybe 3. So pretty tired reaching the border at about 6.30am we finally made it through customs an hour later. They let us through without too many questions, I do think the officer was impressed with our itinerary.
