... after one hour i figured that out. and when i got there it turned out, there is a huge queue in front of me, so the next "free" bus leaves in 5 hours. i didn't want to wait, so i found some guys from argentina to take the cab with them. but again, before we could figure out, where do they stop, we missed it, so it took us some time to get next one, but at least it was faster. driving with them i felt quite strange, sad that it's over, but also excited about next weeks...
Chelmsford, United Kingdom encalien... went to the muslim tent, i got a qur'an, and we learned arabic there. we saw a lot of other workshops, but frankly, they were all (at least those i have seen) the same as on eurojam. so we just did what we had to do for our friendship award, and hang out together :) the days were passing by, working either in the morning on in the afternoon, and spending the rest in company of the wonderful team, walking around the site. before we knew it, the middle of jamboree was there...
Chelmsford, United Kingdom encalien... Faulkner, Chemical Brothers, Jamie T, The Kooks, Alanis Morrisette, Lenny Kravitz, Kings of Leon, Tom Baxter, Passenger and so many other awesome bands. This was definatly one time to remember.
Downpoints, as with any festival, being the over priced food and booze! Why do they do it?! Well, I know why, but... ****ing WHY?! Its not politically correct if you ...
... this really cute officer - finally someone cute. So me being me I unshamefully flirted my way through the entire process. Apparently, so Libbee just told me, I gave the wrong answer to the officer. When he asked where I was staying tonight, I didn't know and he didn't like that, so.... But I got through so all is good. It was wonderful seeing Libbee, it has been way to long since I have seen her and getting a Libbee hug was exactly ...
London, England, United Kingdom tbling... station to see what I could make it to, and decided to go to Tower Hill. There I saw the London Bridge and went through the Tower of London for 14 pounds. At first I was a bit disappointed with the Tower of London, but then I went through the portion dedicated to the crown jewels and was totally wowed. It was amazing to see and learn about them, and it made the whole thing worth it. At that point, it was coming close to the time for me ...

London, United Kingdom rachemurphy... amp; it sounds like they have had a fantastic time. When they arrived, one of the sub camp IST came into the lunch tent and said the Australian's have arrived. As we had already been told that there wasn't Australians in the Volcano Sub Camp we went out to check - sure enough they were all in black. When I told Shannon what had been said she passed the word on and they did a haka right in front of the gate to let everyone ...
Chelmsford, United Kingdom macpacfam... originals in such turmoil. Although many of us try to help Haf-fa when we can, we are all, first and foremost, musicians and worshipers of music and not experts on the ins and outs of music publishing royalties. Sun Ra has left us all better off by vibrating the airwaves in a way that only a being from Saturn can. It is a great shame that the fruit of his legacy and cultural creation may possibly wither on the vine. Strange fruit. Strange fruit indeed. Help! -Detroit August 26, 2007
London, United Kingdom johnsinclair... flats or low heels as i'll be on my feet all day and a strappy top of some sort. the real problem is what the hell to wear on the train over, as i've got a 4 hour train ride from paris and i wanna look sexy for my travelling companion...will just have to see what the weather is like on the day!
London, United Kingdom cakemix... bit while over there, but to all the slightlty bemused out there, the long road trip is not a hassle of the trip, it is probably the purpose of the trip. Hope that you enjoy reading about trip, it promises to be a good crack. Please feel free to leave any (cleanish - wide audience here!) messages, but don't be offended if personal replies are a long time coming, we are on holiday after all. Quite excited now. Croc
