... along the queue for an hour, we could see other passengers onboard sitting on their balconies watching the rest of us poor saps. At least we had some nice folks to talk to and everybody was certainly in a good mood.
We finally got on board and to our stateroom on the 11th floor and it was all worth it. Annette splurged and got us a mini-suite with a balcony positioned kind of aft-ish of midship.

... Houston is very bad on Saturday. I’d hate to see it during the week. Well, the Galleria Mall parking is all in parking decks with a maximum height of 8’6". We’re too big so we just got back on I-610 and came home. I guess people only drive their cars to the Galleria. Jim did a great job driving, but I was having a nervous breakdown. We saw moon rocks, pictures of all the astronaut teams, space suits, rocket engines, etc. We watched 2 really good films. The first was about the history of the space program with lots of good film clips. The second was a new film about the future of space exploration. It was on the largest giant screen in Texas and was an excellent film about the future ...
... other day. We skyped mum as we had really good wifi here. She had Georgie at home and they were all loving being together. She had cleaned the house and was loving up the girls today, she made $1000 from the garage sale on the weekend too. We were given a free ticket for a drink downstairs in the hotel each. So we had two Lawnmower beers, which I likened to a draught at home and obviously loved. We then waited for the rain to stop and went to Bubba Gump on the Pleasure pier ...
