I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO MY VISIT TO LONG BEACH WITH MY FAVORITE NIECE NIKI. BEING IN CALI WITH HER AND SEEING ALL THE SIGHTS IS A ADVENTURE. WE WENT FOR HER BIRTHDAY AND EVEN THOUGH IT WAS CUT SHORT BY THE EARTHQUAKE I WOULD SO DO IT AGAIN. EARTHQUAKE AND ALL.
... a 200 meter straight drop, ok it may not be that big a drop but it sure felt like it and yes I screamed my heart out. I really feel sorry for the lady in front of me. We went on the Monorail and even got to sit up the very front in the drivers cone. After more than 7 hours at Disneyland we decided it was time to go home.
Tomorrow we drive to Vegas. Think we'll put $1 on red....who knows we may just win a million.

Well, those are the adventures of day 1. Keep checking back!
Bye for now :-)
... We saw surfers on the water catching freezing waves. Hats off to their commitment.some partsmofnthe drive were so wet and windy we just stopped at lookouts and stayed in nthe car. Some points were so bleak that the lookouts were shrouded in haze and fog.we stopped at a great little place And had lunch at an old fashioned diner which served a delicious sald and chowder. Great to warm us on a wet cold and windyday. We pushed on into the late afternoon and night fell ...
