... To put it simply: money well spent to see such a sight!! As soon as we landed and were whisked back to the main Osprey V boat, we were grabbing our stinger suits, cameras, and snorkel gear. We were off the boat and into the water in no time flat and WOW...just WOW! There were sports where the coral was just so close you had to try your hardest not to touch it. ... is very, very expensive. Or do I make you sick with jealousy with the memorable stuff? Long story short on that: we swam with a sea turtle, jumped in some waterfalls and a volcanic lake, went 'extreme white water rafting', fed some wild wallabies, swam in sea that was hotter than a bath, and trekked through an ancient rain forest (and that's just what happens to jump out at me now as I sit here at 2 in the morning).

... down to the main city area. It was a 15-minute walk down along the promenade at the sea front. It's a very small city and almost every where is walkable. We had dinner at P.J.O'Brien's. We found out about this place as the backpackers lodge provides a $7 meal for its guest over there. The ribs they served is really tasty and tender.
