... new creature we encountered. The tour guide finally gave up trying to give a narrated tour in the confined space that echoed badly and we missed hearing about what we were seeing.

We returned to the platform and to our seats in preparation for the return trip. Some people took part in no water activities other than sitting at the watering hole with a cold one watching all the activity. A mystery but, I suspect, many were accompanying ...

After that, my duties were done and Lisa looked after us for the wrest of the trip as a fab camp cook. ... pictures which Facebook permitting I shall try and post!

Then it was time to come back. Managed to fall asleep on the boat after our cheese and biscuits and before I knew it we were back on land. Bus back and dropped off the camera and then back to the hostel for dinner.

Bags are now completely packed as we leave Cairns in the morning and head to Mission ...
