... still towing our trailer so it was much easier on the car. We got out of town & not all that much further past the beautiful Mount Carbine area when Damo told Chris to pull up because there was smoke coming from the tyre on the trailer - another wheel baring, long story short it was fixed but we were on the side of the road for ages, many thanks again to our fellow travellers ...

... chucked by the rocks. We had a BBQ for lunch and continued down the river after lunch, we even saw a turtle. I don't think we stopped laughing all day and we have photos to show you all! ... was great the whole week. Obviously until Friday where it was raining the whole day and the cyclone was near approaching. It was good because we were due to leave that evening anyway lol..jayna being an amazing forward planner moved our flight earlier and its good because the 9pm one got we would have been stuck in Cairns the whole weekend which would have suckedddd! ... the sidewalk were looking up and taking pictures. In the trees above were bats, really big ones called flying foxes or fruit bats They were also in Robina but this is the first time that I had seen them roosting. They are almost the size of a bantam chicken.
