... partners, and after striking up a friendship and confirming neither was a weirdo, they booked their trip out! Marcus and Joe became almost instantly best friends, both were high energy with a good sense of humour and they spent hours doing backflips in the pool or lagoon, wrestling and under water racing. So here I am again, with the start of a new year ahead of me in a country I have never been to before. Rather an exciting way to start! So I flew into Australia on the 3rd of May from Wellington airport which wasn't a bad journey to be honest. However our flight did depart at 6am meaning we had to get there 2 hours early, so effectively we were up at 3am to get a taxi to the airport, bleurgh. Me and Matt had stayed in Georgia, Hartley and Johannas flat for a few ...
