... to dinner. We had booked a table at Tour 58 at the Eiffel Tower. It was supposed to be a 30 minute walk, which turned into a 40 minute loop and still nowhere near the tower. We could see it on the horizon, still miles away so we jumped into a taxi. Getting lost on the night Jude puts on her heels is not a good idea.

... were living! As usual the theme of the time was that it had to be bigger, better, hold more treasures and obviously Versailles is testament to this. Even the number of servants assembled in the King's house had to be the greatest - between 3 to 10 thousand servants and courtiers were present in the Palace each day!
