    Monday was a catch up day - laundry, a little TV, shopping. Then Tuesday we hit the road again and headed north on our way to the Upper Peninsula (UP) in Michigan. We stayed overnight in Rochester, MN, as there were some antique stores we wanted to catch and they weren't open until Wednesday. So we'll have a short day on Tuesday, then head north again Wednesday.

    Hi All:

    This is Bob pinch hitting for Jane who is a little loopy at the present time. We rose at 4:15 AM to get to the hospital at 5:15. Everything went smoothly with the pre-op, and I kissed her goodbye at about 6:45. This hospital is amazing. They have a communications nurse that called me about every hour or so to tell me where they were in the process. Surgery didn't actually begin until 9 AM. I received a call at about noon to tell ...
