Front desk not present, had to call for service. Hotel is not very old, still in good clean condition. It's out of the way and occupancy was low.

We done a lot since the last time I posted..... Went from Wpg to Beausejour to visit with Jimmy and Helen. Caught up on the news, breakfasted at the Golf Course, went swimming in the great outdoor public pool, and most of all enjoyed good friends. Then we were off to Hillside Beach to join Leah, Jared, Lilly and Ethan at the marvelous cottage they rented. It had the most beautiful porch and a fabulous ...

... we could have stayed another day to visit with them a bit more. Left on Friday morning, driving in a window of good weather to get home before it rained. Found a great gas station (how exciting, eh?) for a stress- free fill-up on I-80. It's the little things.... Did some planning for a trip to FL over the winter months. Good experience all in all. We're off and rolling ...

In the morning, we decided to drive the "heritage trail" a self-guided car tour through Amish country that leads you past farms, villages and a cheese factory where we caught a glimpse of the production of cheese, and, of course, bought some for the road ahead.

In the afternoon, as the sky was getting darker, we hit the ...

... a few hours. My schedule for the next day had plenty of room for as many naps as I would probably need.

After two days of being home I can honestly say I miss the road. It was the only place that understood me. Each passing car with their own story; Each city, only previously envisioned as a stereotype, full of people – humans – just like yourself who cry, worry, and sing their own tune. The road is a grateful opportunity ...

... Bread. It keeps the kids happy. Then finally made it to our first campsite at Lake Anita Campground. Very picturesque. We took a nice long bike ride around the lake. Glad to have a little real relax time.

Made a nice BBQ dinner and sat by the campfire. Tomorrow is another long day of driving but we are headed to South Dakota to visit Mt Rushmore so we are all ...
