Speaking of cities, Lorraine still needed gas. We approached a small town as my gauge fell below a quarter-tank. Not a gas station in sight. At the edge of the town were approximately one dozen men in white jump suits with pitchforks breaking up hay and throwing it in the back of a wagon. ... the park, go to their beautiful, huge swimming pool, or play mini golf. Nice, level concrete pull-thru site facing the lake, but we couldn't have a full hookup or 50 amp service in a pull-thru site that was long enough for us. Good 30 amp service though!
Sunset Lakes Resort is a park we'd like to come back to!
Is the physical border between Iowa and Illinois. Right after we crossed it through the bridge we made a stop to the best-located information center of our trip. Although it's not clear from the picture, the spot is overlooking the interface of the two states and the bridge that is linking them.

Front desk not present, had to call for service. Hotel is not very old, still in good clean condition. It's out of the way and occupancy was low.
