... which was a let down, but the Ducks won 3-2 after being down 1-0 for most of the game. The crowd seemed to only get involved once the drew then took the lead.....a lot like Port Power supporters I guess.....oh and Collingwood!
After the game we decided to go for a walk throught Downtown Disney. Most of it was shut, but was good to grab a few pics anyway.
Another day gone....time is flying past here.
... good too us although odd. Often very overcast and cloudy in the morning and then blows over late morning. Have been in shorts and t-shirts every day except once when we decided to put on jeans. Oh, did have jumpers one day in San Francisco. Apparently LA only had rain over 2 weeks in January so they are wanting a bit more.
Disneyland - "Celebrate Today".
Well it was certainly different seeing Disneyland without all ...
Wish I could make this blog prettier with pics n stuff but alas I'm too stupid!! So just have to put up with just writing, sorry. Couln't post anything last night - far too tired. Went to Universal Studios yesty and again it was loads of fun. Not a lot to see/do there these days, they seem to have scaled it down somewhat from what I remember, but the others hadn't been there so what they didn't know, didn't hurt them ...
Anaheim, California, United States kjbinusa... as well before a knock on the door and our third party member returns, feeling a lot better after her "girlie things" having been sorted! Time to eat a quick lunch before hitting the shopping centres again! (Just as well The boys took advantage of the morning rest period.) Time was not wasted because of the 3pm deadline. We managed to find the closest Wal Mart, to obtain a few items we had been researching, and lo and behold! Next door is a Mervyns! "who the heck or what the heck ...
Anaheim, California, United States popusa2008... from the top of the ride. It was about 5 metre drop at 45 degree angle. I only got a little bit wet, but even then I dried off pretty quick in the heat. The "Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" was next. This was a nice simple ride that would be great for the young kids. Heaps of Winnie's, tiggers, piglet and all the gang going their bit - mainly based around Pooh's love for Honey. We finished here with a spot of shopping and lunch at the Hungry Bear ...
Anaheim, California, United States oldfield... of stuff out of his mates place but didnt have his driving licence with him. So he said if we would drive him to his mates he would rent the car for 2 days so we could use it when he wasnt. Turns out the rental place had run out of cars to rent so gave us a truck at car prices, it was a brand new Dodge pick-up!!! So we all spent the next two days cruising round LA in a seriously sexy pick up seeing the sights like Beverly Hills, Santa Cruz ...
Los Angeles, California, United States jakecooperErik flew from Tallahassee, FL to LA. The event of the day was game one... a trip to Dodger Stadium. The St. Louis Cardinals ended a three game set with the Dodgers this night. LA was victorious 5-4, with most of the scoring coming in first 5 innings. The game seemed a lot longer than the stated 3:20, as both starting pitchers combined for over 200 pitches - just to finish the first 5 innings. We were among the announced crowd of 38+K - an artificially bloated ...

Third day at sea was: trivia, Ukulele lessons, ice carving, floral demo, lecture on Hawaiians, Hibiscus craft, belly flop contest, movie Casino Royale, Bingo and Princess show. Last sea day before we Island hop...tried the golf simulator, Ukulele lesson, fruit/veggie demo, lecture on whales, sexy legs competition, movie Little Miss Sunshine, a comedy show.
Los Angeles, California, United States cabsvacations... around $40 USD per night. It wasn't the best and seemed to be a refuge for evicted families with people rocking up with all their belongings. The Asian owners were always on the attack when you spoke to them, but hey we needed to save money so it would have to do. We did go for a walk the next day up to what was described as a "small" mall. It was huge! The variety of stuff they have for sale in the States is amazing. Also was the number of fast food outlets.
Los Angeles, United States eatdessertfirstFinally made it! Safe and sound to LAX on the 3rd of November (one month till I'm 31 - help!). It's pretty gorgeous over here, hotel is grand and beside a few shops and pubs, more importantly! Transport is a nightmare though - need to get a hire car sorted out! Have already spent time walking along the beaches in 20C+ heat, drinking ice cold beers on the marina, and enjoying the best food that can be bought on a $10 a day budget ...
