OK, time to get going and enjoy a visit with Karen:). With her address plugged in and only 4 mins away, it takes me through some beautiful southern California country. Amazing how it changes as you head inland, and before you know it I'm driving in country that reminds me of Kelowna and that area. If only Kelowna was that close to the sea... oh and ...

We arrive early (about 9:00 order to assure ourselves of easy parking), grab a map of the altars and head to O'Hungrys for breakfast. As we walk San Dieago Avenue in Old Town, we come across the weekly street fair. Several of the altars are set up and several of the paper machai and wire statues are on display.

... checked out the Hippos, Tigers, Zebras, Elephants, Reindeer, Panthers, Flamingos, Cougars (not the 40 year old plus women type), Grizzly Bears, Koalas, Eagles, Foxes, Turtles, a range of different snakes, Komodo Dragons, and a heap of other animals. Danielle wanted to watch a 4D movie based on the animated film, Ice Age. I thought it was junk but she enjoyed it. As we were now on the far side of the zoo, we jumped on Skyfari, ...
