Long day of travelling today. Set off around 10. Travelled thru Belgium & the Netherlands before arriving in Germany. Only 3 stops required ('mum I need a wee, dad I need a poo, We're HUNGRY!!'). I thanked her and asked why I had been given that privilege . She ...

For some reason we had been upgraded to business class which was nice! We had more leg room and even had a lovely pair of green slippers! Unfortunately, Kyria's seat wasn't so nice - the foot rest wasn't working, the movies wouldn't play and towards the end of the flight she had water dripping on her! So she ...

... with established trees in courtyards between buildings) were unkempt, although in other places there were pots of well cared for geraniums. Perhaps the lawn mowing is left to the city. Also Frankfurt seems to me to be dirty despite having seen lots of people sweeping. Lots of cigarette butts between all the amazing cobbles. A couple of the others on the tour commented how clean Frankfurt is, so perhaps it's the comparison with Hong Kong, or ...
