After breakfast we walked around the area we're staying in (main city near the train station), and went into little shops and market stalls :) We then met with Lee's friend Beate for lunch - haha this was quite a mission! We had the street name (about 1.5km from our hotel), but managed to get lost several times! Haha quite an adventure, but we had a good laugh- allowed us to see a lot more of Frankfurt too as we ...

Wow where to start... So I haven't blogged since the second leg of our flight. I found the second flight a lot better. The car was damaged because of the theft - not because of our negligence. But the supervisor wasn't there so the only thing the guy could do was say that we could discuss it over email with the supervisor. Great.

Checking in and going through customs in the airport was fairly straightforward. We split up afterwards to ...

      Frankfurt (yet) again

... almost at the junction of terminals 1 and 2 and I usually walk through terminal 1 because it's a diversion to go through terminal 2. This time, though, I had plenty of time so I turned left into terminal 2 and took the skytrain to terminal 1.

The skytrain in Frankfurt is quite clever because it serves both airside and landside. The airside passengers travel in one half of the train from platforms at one side and ...
