      That was quite a long flight! The time difference has me confused about the length of the flight, but here in Germany it is just before noon on April 14th. I had a good time, in spite of the long plane ride. I watched Interstellar for part of it, read my Bill Nye book, and reflected a bit. And when we landed, I got my first passport stamp!       After arriving in Frankfurt I checked into my hotel across the street from the Hauptbahnhof (Main train station) and proceeded to nap until dinner time. This in a nutshell is what 10 years does to an enthusiastic traveler. Before I would have embraced precious daylight and ran off to see the sites.
