... another hour through some beautiful countryside dotted with farms, only to be greeted by a traffic jam 7 kilometers (4 miles) from our destination of Grand Bend. After a 45 minute slow crawl, we were greeted by Colleen's cousin, Karen, and spent the evening catching up with her and husband, Rob. We sat out in their lovely, private backyard and enjoyed a drink before ordering up dinner from a local eatery. It's good to land in one place for a few days.
... biodiesel - our sprinter engine warranty has an issue if there is more than 5% biodiesel in the fuel - not sure how they would know. After a few unsuccessful attempts to obtain biodiesel-free fuel in Illinois and Indiana, we gave up and drove on to Michigan where we found what we needed. We lost another hour on the clock and arrived in Battle Creek at 7 pm.
