    ... National forest.
    Moored alongside the houseboat is Juniors new toy- last year was a pontoon boat, but now has been replaced with a Tritoon boat. We enjoyed a leisurely cruise on the lake on the Saturday afternoon (on the Tritoon), followed by a lovely meal on the top deck, cooked by Debbie. A serious game of Mexican Train dominoes followed, making for a long evening!!.

    ... State has many more lakes also with houseboats and pontoon boats. It was in this vicinity (Mills Creek Battlefield) that a very large 2 month long battle took place during the Civil War in 1861, when 10,300 men were involved in battle.

    FREE Park to enjoy the water and picnic areas..Now if you want to camp that's a different story..but to hike, picnic and play with the kids ...absolutely FREE...which is perfect for those of us that are Budget Crafty.
