    ... road was the most beautiful drive in the world so skipping it for speed seemed ridiculous. The tipping point was our conclusion that if we cut our trip short there would remain a sense of disappointment that we hadn't reached our goal. Time to get up early and make time South.

    ... the alpine meadows we walked through were absolutely beautiful. We even got to see a few black tailed deer. So we decided to hike some of the lower altitude trails to see a few of the many glacier runoff water falls. When all was said and done I ended up with about 18,000 steps and 160 stairs on the Fitbit today!

    ... was to a shoppy shop (Janine for nick nack shop) and then the glass museum, where we did the gift shop which was fantastic but enough for us didn't bother with the museum. A few more shoppy shops and then lunch at a cafe called 'over the moon' bohemian restaurant where the toilets had little painted tables and twigs and flowers hanging from the ceilings and really yummy food.....which is getting to be ...
