... the alpine meadows we walked through were absolutely beautiful. We even got to see a few black tailed deer. So we decided to hike some of the lower altitude trails to see a few of the many glacier runoff water falls. When all was said and done I ended up with about 18,000 steps and 160 stairs on the Fitbit today!
With no let up in the clouds we decided to call it a day and headed back to the B&B. After about 15 miles or ...

We went for a stroll and went to the local brewery 'Fishtail Brewery' We sampled a few tipples of course. I had the IPA & the Porter while Rox had the hard cider!! We also had dinner....sald for Rox...shitload of dressing of course and I had chicken schwarma. All in all quality food and drink.....again!!!!

Home at last! We arrived last night and were met at the airport by our son-in-law, Nuno and our granddaughter Carmen. It was sure a nice feeling to pull up outside our house and see everything just as we left it. Thank you to those of you who were nice enough to take care of our house, yard, and plants while we were away. Its sure nice to be home!

... to spend the night. We ended up in Spanaway, a small town east of Tacoma. We bought some ready to eat food and had a late supper. The lady at the deli counter said the Seattle-Tacoma section of the interstate is always busy, but the busiest she ever experienced was last weekend when Justin Bieber was giving a concert in Seattle.
