... an amazing gorge that made the trip
From here we drove via back roads to the Col du Chasseral,
1500 meters above sea level, from where we enjoyed another superb view of the
Southern Alps with Lakes Biel and Neuchatel in the foreground.
And so down to Gampelen where after setting up camp we
enjoyed a swim in the lake followed by a braai in the sun.

... to that city during the small amount of time we had. There is this beautiful covered bridge and a breathtaking bay with a bunch of swans. I would recommend the place but only if you are already in Switzerland because I think other European cities can equal it.

Then on Thursday night Jess and I decided to have another go at Happiness Therapy, sadly without Catherine as she had other stuff on. Coz Jess had a late class we went to the late viewing at 10:10. ... probably for the best as the temperature was rising and it was a very quick trip to Bern.
For the next few days I'm staying with my friend Sabine who we met when we were here in '06. We've kept in contact all these years and followed each other's highs and lows... and it was just so good to be back in her company again.
Sabine took me down to the river for a swim and it was the best dip in melted glacier I've had in ages.
