    ... the HQ for the Olympic Games committee, and moved farther west toward the Jura Mountains and the beautiful series of lakes at their base. Shortly after Neuchatel we turned up into the mountains and drove up the steep grade. We finally came to the little village where Mr. Giauque lives in a large old farmhouse he shares with his brother and sister in law; they on the ground floor he on the second.

    ... The whole place just seems to have been kept as it was about 100 years ago and is a great place to visit.

    As for my little Honda she as always just purrs along in all weathers. As much as that road was extremely wet and slippery today she never missed a beat or slipped in the wet at all.

    Tomorrow I plan to head to Grindlewald or at least that area and perhaps might try and make St Moritz but only time and weather will tell.

    Let’s just hope the rain stays ...

    ... that (and actually Thomas googled it during dinner and read the definition aloud, I believe). It was an interesting, fun, fascinating evening and we didn't want it to end (that's why we went for an after dinner drink at a local pub, and I stayed out later than I have in years!). Finally, I said I had to go to sleep, and ended the party. Thomas told me if I hadn't said that, we probably would have been out all night!!!
