    Tiniest sign of a storm last night in the distance but at least the breeze was cooling things down ...I slept up on the forth floor (hot as !! ) in her neighbors spare room and another neighbor gave me the key to her house, to use the bathroom ...kinda different but at least I didn't have to be woken by the dogs during the night, giving me some lovin!! Birgit has headed off to work ...looking like a sexy business lady, on her bike. Lookin hot !! I still have a few hours to kill before ...

    ... after peddling
    for what seemed an eternity, we finally made it home. The app on my phone
    indicated that we had completed 76 kms on our bikes. Sore legs and bum blisters
    were the result.

    We collapsed into our deck chairs with cold beers and
    braaied mielies, pork chops and sausage whilst being serenaded by live music
    from the nearby campsite restaurant. A long but successful day.

    ... since he needed a toilette he tried to talk to the other men pointing to the other side of the wall, due to language barriers he just left without even peeing. Long story short he paid to look at all the old men peeing and left. You can't panic! After that debacle we walked along the river bank and popped in a little pub to try some local brews.     ... the clock tower called Zytglogge in town. It is one of the oldest large clocks in Switzerland. We then walked to the BärenPark down the street a bit. City of Bern has kept bears in the city sines 1513. The Bernese chronicler Valerius Anselm brought the people a bear back after thei victory in the Battle of Novara.     ... because apparently the town was finishing a local festival so we were treated to a sight of two different groups of cows with flower head dresses and bells being lead through the town by people in local costumes. Click on the two movies which hopefully download.
