    We loaded most of the food, clothes, etc. into the RV Friday, so there wasn't much prep to do (for me anyway) today. While I was at work in Stockton, Jerry got the Jeep hooked up and went to Subway to pick up a couple of sandwiches for later in the day. We ask for the help of a coffe owner, who very kindly helps us in putting 20$ of gasoline at the (incredibly high price of 4.99$ per gallon).     ... feel" between the higher sections and the Valley. The Valley is a lot more commercial, and a lot more people. But, the scenery is insane. Most of the famous Ansel Adams shots are from the Valley.

    We left the crowds around 1:30 and headed towards San Francisco. We drove about 3 hours on beautiful roads, but ended up staying in Lodi, about 1 hour from San Francisco. Scratch Lodi off of your travel ...
