Last Day in South Dakota

Today we went and had a look around Deadwood and lastminute look around the shops before having a relaxing afternoon at our Hotel, had a swim and have had the challenging job of packing up the suitcases and keeping them under our kilo limits. They are pretty strict on it over here..

Off to Dallas tomorrow then back to Hawaii. Let's hope the Cyclone passes before then..!!!!

Today the sun was shining and although rain was in the forecast for the afternoon, we decided to ride our bike to Sturgis. After all, that's what we're here for! We took the Sheridan Lake Road, past Pactola Lake and stopped for lunch at the Boondocks Diner with many other bikers milling around. We sat at a picnic table and the homemade hamburger and greasy fries ...

Well, what a day.. It was absolutely unbelievable.. The amount of people and bikes here is just amazing.. Ranging all ages and all walks of life.. The Americans absolutely love us.. Particularly Deano (no surprises there). Got an email from one of his new friends tonight.. Lol.

The suitcases are getting heavier all the time.

We also went to the Full Throttle Saloon, and had a drink there. Absolutely packed out.. Very different to ...
