Westwind RV Park, Yuma, Az

Wow, Xmas has come and gone. A different Xmas this year. We missed Scott, Lindsay & Wes, a first Xmas apart for all of us, but we all survived. We had a few neighbours over for Xmas Eve, BYOB and appy and chair!! We supplied the campfire (propane fire pit, but don't tell anyone in the Yukon).

... We had a layover in Minneapolis for about an hour. Everything ran smoothly though. I slept the whole time on both flights.

... carpet of flowers. If you ever get to southern Arizona, we highly recommend spending some time in Organ Pipe, whether it is the dry or wet season...it has much to offer. The camping, hiking, visitor center with the knowledgeable rangers and displays will fill you with wonder, amazement and appreciation for the people, plants and animals that live in the Sonoran Desert.
Now we are out “boondocking” (FREE camping) as it is called here in the area surrounding ...

... spot we have is noisy - next to a highway with a lot of
semi traffic
We have taken this site for 1 week and wil move then - where?
we spent today going from rv park to rv park and checking facilities, noise,
availability, lot size etc - 2 or 3 possibles but none we can say for
sure
Have to decide soon though ...
